Eddie Fantastic, by Chris Heimerdinger

Very clean, for a younger audience. I liked it when I was in High School and when I read it again after I was married I still liked it. It is about a boy who meets a scientist and they become friends. Eddie uses one of the scientists inventions and can move so fast that you can't see him. Good book.

Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis

Very clean, meant for a younger audience, but I still enjoyed it. I loved how each new adventure had new characters, but they all tied together in the end of all the books. Exciting. Much better than the movie.

Leah and Rachel, by Orson Scott Card

I didn't like this book the first time I read it and almost quit the second time around, but had nothing else to do and so I read it again. The two sisters who marry Jacob are such brats at times in the book that it wasn't that fun to read and then they grow up and I started to like them better. Very clean. Only mention of sex is that Rachel is too scared to get married because of it.

Rebekah, by Orson Scott Card

I thought this book was great. Very clean. It is the second book after Sarah. Rebekah is chosen to be Issac's wife and she has to cope with a new home and then twin boys that don't get along.

Sarah, by Orson Scott Card

I enjoyed this book and took on a new perspective of Abraham and his wife Sarah from the Old Testament. Very clean. The author had to take a lot of liberties with the story since there isn't that much in the bible about their day to day life. Well written.

Twilight, by Stephenie Meyers

Wow! I loved this book. I fell in love with the characters and thought it was very clean. It is about a girl who moves to a new town and is instantly attracted to a vampire, but she isn't afrain of him and the fall in love. Don't think that because it is a vampire story that it is all sci-fi and scarry. It isn't.

Death on the Nile, by Agatha Christie

This book is very clean. It is a murder mystery with a couple of twists that takes place on the Nile. Actually, on a boat on the Nile. Good read.

Northanger Abbey, by Jane Austen

Of course Austen is going to be clean. This book isn't as talked about as her others, but it is one of my favorites. It is about a girl who meets a guy and his sister and falls in love with him and becomes friends with the sister. However, something is not quite right when she visits them at their home and suspects their father of murdering their mother. This book is mysterious and romantic, what's not to love?

Rider's First Call, by Kristen Britain

This book is the sequel to Green Rider. Once again there is adventure and the romance is more developed. Karigan has to use her magic and magic that she doesn't understand to save her country. She also realizes her true feelings for King Zachary. Very clean.

True Believer, by Nicholas Sparks

I liked this book, but it wasn't my favorite. It is about a scientific thinking journalist who goes to a small town in North Carolina to research a ghost story and try to prove it is caused by something normal, not ghosts. However, he meets that libraian and falls for her. She falls for him too, but isn't sure about it.
Generally clean, but there is a time when they spend the night together and the sex is slightly described.

The Morning Gift, by Eva Ibbotson

I loved this book so much! Great romance. It takes place in the WWII era. The story is about a college age girl who gets stuck in Austria when her parents have already escaped to England. She loves her fiance terribly and he went to his own country to escape, but they plan on meeting in England. She has one real chance of getting out when an English professor friend of the family finds her all alone and offers to help. The only way he can get her out is if they get married. Knowing she is in love with her fiance, the professor tells her they will get annulled as soon as they get to England. However, it doesn't go a smoothly as they had planned.
This book has some profanity, but not overwhelming and does allude to having sex a couple of times.

Christmas Jars, by Jason F. Wright

This is also a good Christmas book and it will get you into the giving season. Clean.

Secret Santa, by Anne Osborn Poelman

This is a great Christmas time book. It is about a poor family who may not have a Christmas, but someone finds a way to make it happen. Very feel good kind of book. Very clean.

Green Rider, by Kristen Britain

I really liked this book. It was exciting and there is a lot of adventure throughout the book. This book is extremely clean.
The main character is a girl, Karigan, who enters into the messenger service of the king. As she tries to deliver the message she runs into a lot of trouble and learns a lot about herself. At the end she has to decide if she wants to go back home and be with her father or stay to work for the king and be a Green Rider.
