Northanger Abbey, by Jane Austen

Of course Austen is going to be clean. This book isn't as talked about as her others, but it is one of my favorites. It is about a girl who meets a guy and his sister and falls in love with him and becomes friends with the sister. However, something is not quite right when she visits them at their home and suspects their father of murdering their mother. This book is mysterious and romantic, what's not to love?
